How are you today?

I like to start the day reading my notebook to see what needs to be done today. Today is no different. When I finish reading my daily notes and turn a new page to start the day, I saw this note on the new page.

Then I remember a few days ago my boss was playing with my notepad during one of those boring meetings. So juvenile but sweet in its own way. I believe I am charmed......reluctantly.

The accidental green apple

Every Monday and Wednesday is Fruit Day in my office. You get 2 pieces of fruit from a variety of offerings in a big bowl. That is if you are quick. One day I was due to have a meeting around the fruit distribution time. Being kiasu and all, I quickly rushed to the pantry and grab 2 apples, dumped on my table and rushed to the meeting. When I got back, I realize I accidentally took a green apple instead of 2 red ones.

Now I have to go McD and take a few salt packets cause I only eat green apple with salt.

Forgotten

The other day, Nite asked me to go lunch at this place near our company. Although it's almost impossible to get lost in the grid that is our city, you can never tell with direction idiots like me. So I painstakingly drew a crude map in case I need it. Which I did halfway into my journey and guess where is said map?

Luckily I still remembered how I drew the map and from there roughly remember the direction.

Friend : Isn't it easier to just remember the direction rather than the way you drew the map?
Me: You will never understand how a direction idiot thinks.

Revelation

Lately I have been chasing Iryuu and I calculated I only slept like 5-6 hours a day for a whole week. Now I am down to my last episode of Season 3. I am quite sad. I like Iryuu.

As I was watching the very leng chai Asada Ryutaro, I happen to glance at my iphone and it was 8.30pm already but another glance on the small alarm clock mounted on top the monitor. It show 7.30pm.

What the fish! Have I been sleeping 4 hours daily all this while.....?

Cold cold winter

It was 7 degrees close to freezing this morning. As I was puffing out wisps of smog, smoke, mist whatever from my mouth, I had 2 revelation

• I should have wore my new coat. I foolishly thought it's still too soon to wear.
• I need thicker work pants. Anything thigh down shakes on its own accord cause of the cold.
• I need a pair of boots, all the way up to my knees. Even if 2 pair of socks, the cold numb my toes.

Ok that was 3 revelation, anyway my aunt was skeptical on my new coat. She asked me to tried it out tomorrow and see if the new age material is better than wool.

But in case anything fails, she's given me a hand-me-down wool coat that has her personal guarantee.
