The One

My mum never fails to boil my favorite old cucumber soup every time I go home. This time is no exception. While I was slowly swishing the soup inside my mouth, mum gave me this expectant look. Assuming I was suppose to compliment the soup, I said " Nice mum, clear and sweet. I love you mummy!"

She then point to the old cucumber," You didn't notice anything else?"

Actually I didn't so I just stab," You add something more than just pork bones right?" in which she said no. Knowing her blur daughter will never guess in a million years, she said," Notice the old cucumber? It's more meaty than usual." Oh now that she mention, yeah woh. Naturally I asked why.

She said, "I got it for $4.00, the seller said it's the chosen one."

Water me

My mum planted 2 beautiful sunflowers in front of the house porch. She timed it so that it just bloomed when I got home. It was the first sight that greeted me.

Mum stood proudly next to the flowers telling me where she got the seed, how she plant and breed it etc etc....while I ooh and ahh all over it, take about a zillion angles of the flower and send it to about 500 people. Then I thought of something, ' Ma, who gonna water my flower when you are in kangaroo land with me?'

SMS

I was very impressed with Firefly's latest SMS service. Although I am not too happy they charge 2.00  for the SMS (c'mon, Air Asia do it for free), I still selected it as I like to go 'e-friendly'.

Guess what, the bloody sms never came.
